Guana Island Resort is on a small private island of 850 acres with 7 powder-white sand beaches, miles of tropical forest with verdant hills and valleys, and birdlife to attract the most ardent bird watcher. The resort is at the edge of the Caribbean where it meets the Atlantic.

The resort offers only 15 rooms, split into hilltop cottages overlooking Muskmelon Bay. The villas have private pools and one, a private beach. There are no TVs, radios, or phones, but the resort does offer complimentary wi-fi throughout.

Prices include 3 meals a day, wines at lunch and dinner, tea, snacks, and all island activities. Offered are 2 tenis courts, sunfish, kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfing, croquet, table tennis, and hiking. For an extra fe, you can try waterskiing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and a sail to other BVI islands.

In keeping with its small size, the resort offers friendly service, and guest get-togethers, such as beach BBQs, picnics, and afternoon tea. Accessible by boat only, Guana island is a perfect hideway.
