Professor Grant McCall left the BVI last weekend with a good impression for the future of the Islands, this is encouraging for anybody considering a BVI VACATION.
The President of the International Small Islands Studies Association, commented at the conclusion of Islands of the World Conference,
‘The highlight of the conference was meeting students in the BVI. Seeing the future of this country through their eyes and what capable hands this place is going to be in. The students were intelligent, hospitable, outgoing and very knowledgeable about the BVI. They are impressive. What struck me the most is that they also had a perspective of the world and that to me was the highlight of this whole conference,’ he said.
McCall said that the conference was extraordinary and many of the delegates were surprised that to find out that the BVI has a population of about just 30,000 people.
‘The town itself is beautiful and has a beautiful setting and the people here have been so helpful in helping us to achieve one of the most successful ISISA conferences ever. Everyone is just astonished by what they have seen and experienced,’ he concluded.
